From a review by Cliff Jones-Cassidy for PX Magazine, February, 2007
…RUSS GRAHAM has given us a crackerjack of a story! …The
story opens with the discovery that three airline captains have been
murdered in strange circumstances in three different cities
…the author’s attention to detail is superb.
…when DON CARLING, a private investigator and former airline
pilot, travels through these cities you feel you are right there with
him on the streets …Carling believes there is a connection
between the crimes and sets out to prove it …obviously he
does, but the twists and turns the tale takes in the process transforms
the book into what a mystery story should be; “a real page turner”…
From a review by Jean Smith for the VOYAGER COMPASS, February, 2007
Have you ever found a book so compelling that, when you had to put it
down, you found yourself counting the minutes until you could get back
to it? I found such a book recently when I was asked if I’d like
to read a copy of Russ Graham’s DEADLY DIVERSIONS…
…the book is set up in short segments by date and time, and
chapters have no give-away titles…the reader is drawn into the
story and becomes a part of the investigation, and also suffers
the frustration that private investigator DON CARLING endures…
…this is an excellent mystery, rivaling anything by John Grisham
or Ken Follett, and you should certainly make it a ‘must
read’…

…a great read…had difficulty putting it down once I
started…look over your shoulder, John Grisham, there’s a
new competitor coming up behind you!
